Stamps of Quality

 

In Quebec, the QFIC is responsible for applying the rules and standards of the Canadian Lumber Standards Accreditation Board (CLSAB). For the United States market, the QFIC ensures that Quebec lumber products comply with the standards of the American Lumber Standard Committee (ALSC). The QFIC's Quality Control Department thus conducts monthly inspections of lumber stamped in member sawmills as part of enforcing these national and international standards.
